Discovery Year 7. Session 4. Week 6.
Discoverers worked hard to end the session strongly this week. Reflections, resetting, and celebrations filled the studio.
Exhibition
Energy was high as Discoverers prepared for their exhibition, the Discovery Toy Workshop: A Physics Exhibition. The Exhibition Planning Committee took their role seriously by writing speeches, assigning roles, and leading physical prep for the exhibition on Friday. Discoverers were eager to share their challenges and their toy prototypes with guests.
Studio Life
Over the past two weeks, Discoverers have taken on a manners challenge. Each day, they gather to listen to a poem describing a certain table manner, which they then spend lunch practicing. After two weeks of practicing these manners, they celebrated by sitting together to enjoy a waffle breakfast! Discoverer also met with their Growth Circles again this week to reflect on the session and prepare for the next.
Outside the Studio
This week, Discoverers who put in the effort to complete a field badge this session left campus to climb at Crux Pflugerville. The climbers showed grit and energy as they bouldered and climbed for three straight hours.
