Discoverers started to wrap up their session this week by building toys, completing drafts to be published next week, and making moves on completing their session-long goals.

Quest

After four weeks of completing challenges and building toys in Quest, Discoverers moved into the role of toy designers themselves! Using provided materials, power tools, and creativity, they jumped into designing, building, and problem solving their toys. 

Work Cycle

Discoverers are practicing a different system for setting SMART goals this week. They chose to start setting SMART goals at their squad tables at the beginning of Work Cycle, and meeting again with their squads at the end of Work Cycle to reflect on their goals, hold each other accountable, and celebrate their work together. Within the smaller groups, they are challenged to provide more feedback and support as they work towards their goals.

Discoverers took to the field this week playing flag football. Teams of five took turns playing, while the rest of the teams cheered from the sidelines.
