Discoverers showed joy, focus, and commitment to their goals this week.
Inside the Studio
This week was full of new challenges in the studio. In Quest, Discoverers practiced resisting gravity with elasticity and buoyancy. In Art, learners continued exploring the world of ceramics as they started working on a ceramic creation of their choice. New on campus this week are Growth Circles. Growth Circles provide small teams of Discoverers and Explorers with an opportunity to collaborate, inspire, and guide each other through challenges and goals. During their meetings on Wednesday, Explorers guided Discoverers as they set their session-long S.M.A.R.T. goals.
Outside the Studio
Learners took ownership of PD this week by bringing drill ideas and flag football play diagrams to practice. In outdoor play, Discoverers dove into the creativity and imagination of the outdoors. And for the first time in Run Club, some learners chose to challenge themselves by tackling a second lap on the one mile course.
